Makers Farmacy is:

Growing food & giving it away to those in need.

Our Approach:

Using vertical aeroponic technology that is both economical and sustainable, we are growing food & giving it away to those in need by partnering with local food pantries & service organizations in Wilson County, Tennessee.

We recognize most food available through these resources tends to be shelf stable. We don’t desire to be another food pantry ourselves, rather we want to come alongside those that are already doing a great work in our community & provide them with the fresh food to offer their clients & neighbors.

Praise Report

As of November 2023 we have our greenhouse structure in place. We are still working on obtaining the necessary supplies & expertise to help us get it wired up with electricity but are still able to grow in it using extension cords. The goal is to have it ready by late fall so that we can run the heater through the winter & begin growing year round!

In addition, we have plans to add 12 more towers & a gravity fed water & nutrient distribution system that will greatly streamline the growing process & help us save time, energy, & resources.

Our Community Garden

Makers Farmacy is growing fresh produce economically & sustainably to donate to local food pantries because everyone deserves access to food that fuels & heals.

We are currently in the fundraising stage for our Tower Installation Phase, where we are looking to raise $10,000 to expand by 12 Growing Towers, as well as installation of irrigation systems and growing supplies.
